William W. Yen – Principal

William Yen is the founding principal of Sapient Law Group, P.C. with years of experience covering a broad spectrum of legal expertise, including business litigation, corporate and securities transactions, immigration, and estate planning. William recently co-founded Advan Legal, a new generation legal services provider leveraging AI and efficient workflow processes to reduce overhead for its clients. William now focuses his practice primarily on asset protection and tax mitigation strategies for high-net-worth families and foreign nationals. William earned his Bachelor of Arts from U.C. Berkeley and completed his post-baccalaureate studies in Accounting at UCLA. Thereafter, William earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, where he was awarded “First Honors” for his many academic achievements. William is a member of the California State Bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits, and the California Supreme Court. William has been continually recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star,” and also recognized as a “Lawyer of Distinction” in the area of Estate Planning. Recently, William was selected as one of Pasadena Magazine’s 2022 “Top Lawyers.”
